Festival Partners

This year, as a way of saying thank you to local people who continue to support the Festival year after year, we are announcing our first ‘Festival Partners’. These are people who have consistently donated skills and time to the Festival, promoted our community philosophy and acted as ambassadors for the work we do in raising the profile of local arts. We hope that this list will grow from year to year and will provide an opportunity for us to recognise, in a small way, the important service these people provide.

Thanks from the team

This year we have said goodbye to two of our team and we want to thank them for the work they have done for Chorlton Arts Festival.

Chris Nicholls has been in charge of organising our drama programme for the last four years. During this time the profile of drama has been significantly raised, attracting more local groups and award-winning shows. He has also produced and directed two new plays for the Festival. We will miss his artistic skills but also his guidance and wisdom on the general running and development of the Festival. We wish him all the best on his move to Devon.

Brigitte Soltau ran our visual arts programme last year and put together one of the most exciting and vibrant programmes we have seen. Again, we wanted to thank her for all her time and energy and we wish her well with her new projects.

The Rt. Hon. Lord Keith Bradley
