An afternoon of musical treats featuring leading Chorlton and Manchester based artists in the fields of live electronics, instrumental performance and improvised sound handpicked by _scape and  the Noise Upstairs including Noise Research:

Noise Research (aka Ian Simpson) is a musician / sound artist producing live improvised soundworlds and noisescapes. Using anything from broken toys, guitars and lo-fi electronica he presents a somewhat uncompromising often dystopian audio environment.  Noise Research has released music worldwide and a recent review of the ‘Space Stones’ ep said the music was akin to ’Gigantic forces tapping on the outside of the bubble’ - (Misfit City, 2012)
