CP Lee, founder member of 1970s Rock iconoclasts Alberto Y Lost Trios Paranoias presents his one-man show during which he recounts tales drawn from more than fifty years on the road. Along the way he found time to dawdle with Andy Warhol, doodle with George Melly, and play before the stoned heads of Europe. Tonight he’ll tell tales and sings songs that made him what he is today – a man with a one-man show!!
Formed in March 2015 by five singers from south Manchester, Vocal Harum have honed down a spirited and diverse melodic live show featuring songs from a range of different countries and cultures, including French chanson, old time gospel, English and Irish folk, American rhythm & blues and swing. Vocal Harum’s live performances, mixing rousing choruses, enticing harmonies, colourful outfits and off the cuff humour, have been wowing audiences across the length and breadth of Levenshulme for months – now it’s time to take on the rest of the conurbation.
