Egriega: Life Is Strange But It Is Wonderful
Thursday 26 May, 2016 - 19.45 doors
£4 on the door
Egriega sings about extraordinary people living ordinary lives… acoustic music with ‘cahunas’, using Jazz, Tango and pop sensibility to overlay a world view that is lyrically different.
Egriega is the latest incarnation of the musician formerly known as Arthur Kadmon of 70s Manchester bands: Manicured Noise, Ludus, The Distractions and, like many musicians, The Fall.In 2013, life as he knew it stopped but Egriega fought back and was awarded the Stroke Association’s Creative Arts Award. In 2015 he performed at the Manchester Fringe and on the Mike Sweeney Show.
