Manchester Singers is a professional a cappella vocal ensemble whose repertoire includes music from the Renaissance to the contemporary. The group brings together young singers trained at the Royal Northern College of Music and the University of Manchester. In July they were invited to perform Arvo Pärt’s Drei Hirtenkinder aus Fatima at the Manchester International Festival, and also at The Sixteen’s Sounds Sublime festival in the National Gallery in London later that month. In October, they appeared at the Brighton Early Music Festival in a public masterclass with Eamonn Dougan, Associate Conductor of The Sixteen. In February, they will be doing a composition workshop with students at the RNCM, and they have been invited back to Sounds Sublime festival in July 2016.in category music
