Prufrock and Me
Thursday 26 May, 2016 - 19.30
What do you really know about someone that you see on stage? I have been a professional comedian for 17 years and I still don’t know how that happened. Growing up I was solitary, painfully shy, and under the surface maybe I still am. In his twenties T S Eliot wrote ‘The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock’ about just such a man. Ever since I studied it at school it has been like a soundtrack to my life.
In this show Dave Williams puts joking aside and talks about loneliness, shyness, performing and this beautiful poem.
