Coffee Concert with The Ellesmere String Quartet
Enjoy a morning coffee in the company of The Ellesmere String Quartet. Music includes Mozart Quartet in G, K387 and Haydn’s ‘Kaiser’ Quartet, Op 76 No 3.

Music at Lunchtime:
Hazel Ross (Violin) and Nadine Andre (Piano)
Hazel Ross and Nadine Andre met at the Royal Northern College of Music and perform in venues across the UK and further afield. They have been invited to teach and perform on the Language & Music For Life course in Beijing later this year. This recital features sonatas by Brahms and Mozart as well as shorter popular works by Albeniz and Vittorio Monti.

The Schrober Piano Trio
The Schrober Piano trio, Sylvia Barry (Violin), Maggie Wenham (Cello) and Rosalind Hall (Piano) was formed in 2007 and gives concert across the North West. Tonight’s programme includes Mozart’s Piano Trio in B flat K 502, the Andante from Schubert’s Trio in B flat Op. 99 and Beethoven’s Piano Trio in E flat Op. l No. l.

An acoustic double-bill to help you wind down the day at The Hillary Step. Sean Whittaker performs an acoustic set, accompanied by blues guitarist, Rick Lucas. Sean has been receiving regular air play in New York after being picked up on myspace by WEX FM. Nste (Nigel Stewart) sings country-tinged, gritty tracks from his album ‘Angry Love Songs’.

Dance Night with The Northern Belly Company, Upasana and Yerba
Tonight we celebrate dance with three of the most colourful and vivacious groups around. The Northern Belly Company dances in a variety of styles from all over the Middle East, using music mostly from that region as well as fusion, cross over and Shakira. Yerba Flamanco Group brings us dazzlingly exotic dances from Andalucia in Southern Spain and Indian dance group Upasana showcases Indian ethos and philosophy through Bharatanatyam, a classical dance format from the temples of South India. Full of vibrant movements and dynamic intensity, this is a journey from pure dance to experiencing the divine.
