Visual Arts – Hands-on
This year, to get you in the mood, there are two pre-Festival week opportunities to star in the show yourself. On Saturday 10 May you can create your own artwork about Chorlton and see it exhibited during the Festival (see St Clement’s Church). Then on Sunday 11 get down to Chorlton Nursery where you can construct your very own totem pole!
During the week, you can create with mosaic (see Chorlton Park), get funky with felt (see Open Houses) make a slate sculpture, plan your own garden, and join in the Beech Road Treasure Hunt! (see Creative Recycling).
