Mosaic Workshop: Jo Lowes – Birds of Chorlton Park

Artist Jo Lowes invites you to come along and be part of a new public art project for Chorlton, the Birds of Chorlton Park Mosaic Trail – a public art project supported by the Chorlton Park Regeneration Group. Featuring birds that inhabit the park, the mosaic designs are also being exhibited for the Festival (see Pottery Corner). All ages welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult. All materials supplied.

Tim Burgess – Trees in Chorlton Park

If you have been walking in Chorlton Park during April, you may have noticed something special happening, or heard the distant roar of a chainsaw! Now the spectacular new tree sculptures by artist Tim Burgess are ready to be viewed! Come along and celebrate this unique new contribution to the park and to Chorlton. The sculptures will be officially opened by Tim who will be available to discuss his work. They are located in the north-west of the park and can be seen from Barlow Moor Road.
